Personal Collaboration: Group Presentation

Personal Collaboration: Group Presentation

I was blessed to be in a group with very motivated and committed groups members that made the whole journey a seamless and easy one.

We started by discussing what topics we wanted to tackle and what hikmah we could talk about. I thought there was no topic better than the hikmah of Salah. It is the first thing a Muslim is asked about on the day of Judgement and as undergrads facing a hectic academic year, it can get difficult managing praying on time. Hence why I thought it was of paramount importance to discuss the hikmah of salah so as to motivate all of us to take our salah seriously.

I posed my ideas to my teammates they agreed that it was a good topic. The next step was deciding what hikmah to put in the infographic. One of my teammates mentioned we should talk about the history of salah and how it came to be. Another teammate noted that we could talk about spiritual and physical benefits. The discussion was very well rounded and we ended up with five points, with one point for each memeber.

I went back that night, and searched for a template on canva we could use, and we got started!

The day of the presentation came around. We met up an hour prior to the class to rehearse a little so that our presentation would go seamless. We went over everything one last time and we were ready! I thought the presentation went well. Each person discussed their points clearly and we didn't go above the time limit. The other students also asked very engaging questions which were quite fun to answer.

And that's all about the group project!
